Come down to Cloverdale on Thursday night between 6pm and 8pm to catch the bed races. They're held on 176A Street between 57th and 58th Avenues.
There are several teams in different categories and usually a team is comprised of 4 people pushing the bed and one person riding on top hanging on. Using the term bed is not entirely accurate. Its pretty much a bed frame with modified wheels so it can be pushed down the street. Years ago when the races first started there'd be a mattress and maybe even the bed made up and the rider was often dressed in their pyjamas. As the races became more popular the racing beds were modified to be lighter and easier to push.
Before the bed races there is a kid's bike parade that starts at 5pm.
