I just heard on the news that they are trying to create the largest human peace sign at Cloverdale's Millenium Park today at 1:30pm.
The Millenium Park is located on the corner of 176th Street and 64th Avenue. The best place to look for a parking spot is to go to 62nd Avenue, reached off 176th Street, and there are parking lots on this street including down past the Agriplex at the end of the street.
The news said they were asking for people to arrive by noon so they can start setting up.
Well - they came way short. Not a big surprise for a weekday afternoon. But the free concert was fantastic with some excellent musicians - some favorites and some new to me. I really enjoyed myself.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update and it sounds like the concert made it worthwhile for those who did show up. Not a surprise. I also wondered why they chose a weekday afternoon instead of a weekend. I drove past just after noon and there were hardly any cars in the parking lot and about an hour later when I was driving up Highway 10 I saw a lot of Kwantlen students holding peace signs and I figured they must be heading to the Millenium Park.
