I was walking past Golphi's restaurant today (5633 - 176th Street) and noticed the windows are all papered up.
There is no notice that they are closed for good or closed for renovations. Nothing. Its been a few weeks since I walked down that part of 176th Street so if there was a sign saying they've closed temporarily or for good, I missed it.
Golphi's opened up in Cloverdale around the mid 70's. The restaurant caught on fire quite a few years back, late 80's or early 90's, and they renovated it and opened again.
It'll be a shame if its closed down, probably another restaurant fallen victim to the HST keeping customers away. This place has the best pizza in Cloverdale. Love their Greek pizza!
