There's a free outdoor movie at Surrey's Holland Park tonight, August 28 2010.

8pm - How To Train Your Dragon

Show ends around 9:30pm. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Bundle up, it cools off real fast once it gets dark. Holland Park is near the King George Skytrain station, on the corner of the King George Highway and Old Yale Road.

Free outdoor movie August 6 at Fraser Heights

If you missed it when it was playing at the Clova, and if you like free outdoor movies and are looking for something to do on Friday August 6, you might want to consider driving over to Fraser Heights Rec Centre to watch "How to Train your Dragon". The Rec Centre is on 160th Street, about a kilometre or so north of Highway 1. There's a good sized parking lot there. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and snacks. Bring a sweater It gets cold after the sun sets. Show starts at 9pm.

Playing at the Clova from April 9 - April 15 2010

This upcoming week, April 9 - 15, the Clova its back to 2 movies each night, and one of them will be the same one that's been playing the last 2 weeks - How to Train Your Dragon at 7pm.

At 9pm - She's Out Of My League

Admission is $7 for one or both movies, or $4 on Tuesdays. Last show lets out around 10:35pm.

Playing at the Clova from April 2 - April 8 2010

No big surprise here. How to Train Your Dragon is playing for a second week at the Clova Theatre from April 2 - 8. Just like last week showtimes are 7pm and 9pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the rest of the week is 7pm only.

No second feature when a first run movie is playing. Admission is $7 or $4 on Tuesday.

Playing at the Clova from March 26 - April 1 2010

Playing at the Clova this week from March 26 - April 1 is a new release How to Train Your Dragon. Today the marquee shows the movie playing at 7pm and again at 9pm. The last show lets out at 10:38. In the past when the Clova gets a new release their contract is for 2 weeks and they can not show a second movie in conjunction with it. So, I don't imagine we'll see a change next Friday. Also the 2 shows are on Friday and Saturday nights. The rest of the week it is a 7pm show only. Admission is $7 or $4 on Tuesdays. Bring your own reusable popcorn and drink container and fill up at the concession for $2.
