Cloverdale Brick Yard Station first casualty

Today I was over at the Cloverdale Brick Yard Station (corner Cloverdale Bypass, Highway 10, 57 Avenue) and noticed the farm market, the last shop at the west end closest to 57th Avenue has closed.

They sold fresh produce and some other grocery products there. They had a rolling shelf they brought outside each day that had apples, oranges, and other fruits on it. I didn't see it there today so I walked up and peeked in the window. All the products have been removed but the shelving units are still in there.

That's too bad. They weren't open very long. I think they opened in May or possibly late April.

The unfortunate distinction of being the first shop in the Brick Yard Station to close down.

Here's the picture I took of their window front when I was photographing the windows decorated for the Cloverdale Rodeo.
